Hourly Mix Totals

WERA and CODAR (HFRProg): OUBA Totals | North | South | GDOP/FitDiff TotalErrors | All Radials
National HFR Network: UNC Site Diagnostics | National HFR Network Totals

These maps of surface currents are measured with shore based High Frequency Radars (HFR). Each snapshot contains data from three CODAR sites operated by UNC-CH/ECU-CSI and four WERA sites operated by SkIO. The horizontal resolution as plotted is 6x6km, estimated from data averaged over 2 hours, 10km radius around each gridpoint. Symbols represent in-water assets of the PEACH Project (magenta triangles) and NDBC Buoys (green squares).

More about these radars can be found at (). Funding for the HFR sites provided by Southeast Coastal Ocean Observing Regional Association (SECOORA), the North Carolina Renewable Ocean Energy Program (NCROEP), and the NSF sponsored PEACH Project.
